Spring Intake 2025
The Spring Intake is a special low-cost program working with Advanced Level 3 Hakomi Method students running from September 2025 to June 2026.

Step 1 - Register your interest
​
You will be asked for some brief information about your intentions, preferences and availability.
​
Based on this information, the Clinic will assign a therapist to you. You cannot choose your therapist.
​
Step 2 - Initial chat
​
Your therapist will contact you for an initial chat to talk through our processes and procedures, answer any questions you have about the service.
Identify a suitable time for your first appointment - either online or in person
​
Step 3 - Intake
​
You will be emailed a Client Intake and Consent form to fill out prior to your first session.
​
Step 4 - Hakomi Therapy​
​
In your first session, the therapist will focus on understanding your needs and preferences, and discussing your broader goals and intentions.

Eligibility requirements?
​
​You must be aged over 18 to access this service
​
You must agree to the sessions being recorded for supervision purposes (in accordance with privacy legislation and deleted after supervision)
​
You do not need for a GP referral, health insurance or a Mental Health Plan
​
You do not need to have any experience with mindfulness or somatic therapy.
Hakomi is a gentle, experiential method of self-study. Rather than just talking about your problems, you are guided to explore how you organise your experience in the present moment, using your body as a compass to gain insights into yourself.

The therapy space is informed by safety, curiosity and compassion, opening the door to deeper self-awareness, new perspectives on old struggles, and a felt sense of choice, possibility and nourishment.
Our Spring Intake offers low-cost Hakomi psychotherapy sessions with Advanced Level 3 students in the Hakomi Professional Training Program at the Hakomi Institute, Sydney.
Each 60-minute session costs $50.
